With the announcement that Trinity Western University’s fourth and current president, Robert G. Kuhn, J.D., will be completing his final term of service on April 30, 2019, the search has begun for the University's fifth president.

AN EXCITING TIME TO BE HERE

Recently, Trinity Western University has seen powerful signs of God’s enduring grace and provision. Three consecutive years of profitable growth have put Trinity Western University among the top 10 per cent of its peers in North America. The University built its first new residence hall in over 20 years and has plans to build more. Our community looks toward the future with great anticipation. This is an exciting time to be here.

Langley, BC (Main Campus)  

Trinity Western University’s main campus spans 157 acres in the beautiful Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada, just 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver, ski hills, and the beach. Located in Langley, BC, Trinity Western University is the area’s second-largest employer (after the City of Langley). 

Five minutes down the road is the university town of Fort Langley, a historic enclave of trendy eateries and quaint shops and home to Trinity Western House—a new-concept gathering place open to both students and the wider community. This unique space has been developed as a part of a strengthened partnership with the community. 

RESEARCH & GRADUATE STUDIES

Trinity Western University takes pride in being a leader in research among Christian liberal arts institutions. With a diverse research culture spanning across all disciplines, Trinity Western University scholars receive over $1 million annually in research operating grants, including grants from all of the Tri-Agencies (CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC). In addition, Trinity Western University has three Canada Research Chairs, and has received over $5 million to create new research infrastructure.

GLOBAL IMPACT

Trinity Western University’s location and position in the Canadian Christian higher education landscape has been attractive to international students and agencies for over four decades. Today, Trinity Western University serves over 1,000 international students from over 30 countries around the world.

Over the past decade, Trinity Western University has signed over 40 international agreements; developed foundation programs to support International learners; launched the Great Wall International MBA program delivered in China; established both the BA Leadership international degree completion program and the Master of Arts in Leadership Program for business leaders in Mandarin.

The Laurentian Leadership Centre
 is Trinity Western University’s signature program in the heart of the nation's capital. Students live in residence while pursuing a certificate in Applied Leadership and Public Affairs. They also intern with top positions in government, communications, non-governmental organizations, and corporations.

POWERHOUSE ATHLETICS

Trinity Western University has won a national championship at the highest collegiate level in at least one sport 10 years in a row. The high-profile Spartans have won 11 U Sports championships and 25 Canada West regional championships and six Spartan alumni made the Canadian roster for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Spartan athletes also maintain an academic standing of 80 per cent or better and are recognized for their outstanding leadership and character.

Trinity Western University – Bellingham offers accelerated degree completion programs that allow students to complete a bachelor’s degree in leadership, multidisciplinary social sciences, or psychology in approximately 24 months.

Trinity Western University’s  newest campus

ECOSYSTEM STUDY AREA (ESA)

A beautiful example of God’s creation, the ESA  includes 40 acres of undeveloped land on the Trinity Western University main campus, 57 acres of land in close proximity to the main campus, the nearby Blaauw Eco-Forest, and a research centre on beautiful Salt Spring Island. The ESA provides an area open to all for recreation and appreciation of nature, serves as a living outdoor laboratory for university course work and public education, and acts as a creation stewardship site.
